David Stiers serves the Identity Fraud Solutions practice of Kroll’s Background Screening division as a client executive, based in Atlanta. He brings to Kroll over thirteen years of software sales expertise with a proven record of managing complex sales opportunities, achieving revenue and new account growth.  His extensive experience with technology and content security, as well as his expertise in identifying new sales markets and establishing key relationships, provide Kroll clients with a broad perspective from which to address their needs for new and complex sales opportunities, service development, and business expansion.

Prior to joining Kroll, David served as the Vice President of Sales for DigitalStakeout, an industry leader in security operations designed to assist enterprises in closing security gaps by automating the collection of security information.  With David’s efforts, DigitalStakeout increased its revenue by over 900 percent.  Prior to DigitalStakeout, he was the Director of Operations with VistaScape Security Systems, a leader in data convergence through intelligent video solutions. David also held key sales positions at SPI Dynamics and Internet Security Systems.

David’s extensive background in the software industry, combined with his considerable experience in channeling new sales activities to increase revenue, assures his clients of a comprehensive results-driven approach.

Professional Experience

§    Extensive Business Development. David’s expertise is built upon his ability to direct, manage, and strengthen companies to later sell to Fortune 500 companies, including Siemens Building Technologies and Hewlett Packard.  David has carried multi-million dollar quota and delivered extensive deals in southeastern companies, namely Internet Security Systems, SPI Dynamics, and VistaScape Security Systems.

§    Service Developer. David created a direct-touch sales model and implemented the Salesforce.com CRM solution for VistaScape.  His responsibilities with this engagement allowed him to effectively identify high -level contacts and train qualified partners, which led to Seimens’ purchase of the company. 

§    Relationship Management. David has been a vital player in forming strategic sales alliances.  At SPI Dynamics, David developed key relationships and supported several business partners within his territory.  He also penetrated prospective accounts, securing critical business dependencies. David’s leadership and management efforts resulted in strategic sales partnerships, substantial revenue growth, and significant business progression.
