Ron Krebs was presented with SCCIA’s Captive Person of the Year award during the open session of the association’s Annual Conference. The award was created to recognize the individual who has contributed the most to the success of the association and/or the domicile over the past year.

Our recipient has been a tireless proponent of South Carolina for several years and is probably one of the most visible personalities we have in the domicile. This person has demonstrated a specific passion for captive education and regularly goes above and beyond the call of duty in working to make South Carolina the best captive domicile in the world.   While most of his contributions have come from a position within the private sector, he has more recently been helping to promote the success of the domicile from a new direction…now as a key staff member within the South Carolina Department of Insurance Alternative Risk Transfer Division.
