Wholly-owned subsidiary of a captive insurance company or industry service provider that is currently a member in SCCIA. Your membership in SCCIA is not tax deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. However, membership dues and related payments made to SCCIA may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
